On my travels…
September has been a great month for us at Straightpoint.

Map of my visits
I have been all the way over to China visiting our partners GLE who sell the Straightpoint product (load cells, crane scales) into industry over there. I met some fantastic people on the way!
During my trip I paid a visit to their office in Zhang Jia Kou to train some new members of the sales team on the current Straightpoint range.

After the training session in Zhang Jia Kou, I went to visit one of the chain manufacturers they use. Look at the size of the chain compared to me standing next to it!

The next part of my journey took me on the very efficient high speed train to the Tianjin branch. As you can see from the picture, the team there were very welcoming.

And finally, another train journey to Shanghai where I visited some of the GLE customers. Everyone made me feel right at home and the food was fantastic! It was a real taste of Chinese culture.

A trip to visit my now good friends at Kyloweigh and Bengbu sensor finished off this amazing journey.

My last stop before home is in HangZhou to have one last meeting before flying to Melbourne to visit Australian Calibration Services. I will then be going to Singapore to meet with Intermarine, our partners over there.
Look out for our next blog to see what else I got up to!
